LeAnn Rimes and Lonestar have new albums hitting stores today. Rimes' Spitfire is her follow up to 2011 covers disc Lady & Gentlemen, but her first full collection of new studio material since 2007's Family.
LeAnn will be making a number of TV appearances over the next two weeks to promote the project. She's starting her media blitz with a release day performance on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." She'll be a guest on E!'s "Chelsea Lately" on Wednesday, and next Monday pay a visit to ABC's "Good Morning America." Rimes will be featured on ABC's "The View" on June 11th, and appear on "The Wendy Williams Show" on June 12th.
Lonestar's Life As We Know It is the country group's first studio effort in three years, following their 2010 CD Party Heard Around the World. It's also the band's first full disc since founding frontman Richie McDonald returned to the fold. The group will concentrate their promotional efforts in Nashville, since thousands of country music fans will be in town for this week's CMA Music Festival.
Lonestar has several performances and CD signing sessions scheduled throughout the week. They'll also host their annual Lonestar Nation Fan Club Party at Nashville's 3rd and Lindsley on Wednesday afternoon.
