Brittany Klundt and Rachel Wright are both Thirtyone consultants. Now until November 26th we are taking donations to buy totes for those who are affected. "This fundraiser is for all who were stripped of their homes, cars, possessions, food and good water in the devastating destruction of the tornadoes that swept through Pekin and Washington and the surrounding areas on Sunday, November 17th. We are asking for donations of $42 (plus shipping/tax) to purchase one Large Utility Tote and one Medium Utility Tote to give to the people in desperate need. We will be taking the commission earned by these sales and using it to fill the totes with food, water, and toiletries." We are taking cash, check, credit card, and item donations.
This is my best bud, Danny. He's participating in "No Shave November," are you?
If you ARE growing out your grizzly mane, or grooming a 'stache, please consider coming to a benefit fundraiser / shave party on December 7th! The benefit is for a friend of mine, battling cancer. It's going to be a fun day, AND we're going to see some sweet facial hair, I'm sure. :) CLICK HERE for more info on the event!
Okay... so someone made a comic book about the life of Carrie Underwood. As her biggest fan, I may or may not be adding this to my Christmas list...

FAME: The Carrie Underwood Story follows the Superstar’s trials and tribulations, leading her to become the top female performer of our era."

It's been surreal having the CMA Award on display in the studio with me today. This is a trophy that many HUGE (and some small) country stars have in their home, and now WE HAVE ONE TOO at WLLR! What?!
I couldn't help myself tonight... I HAD to grab this photo op! :)

The bride wore white. The groom wore a baseball cap.
On Sunday, country star Rodney Atkins, 44, married singer-songwriter Rose Falcon on the beach of Captiva Island, Fla.
The couple exchanged vows in front of 20 guests. Atkins's son Elijah was the best man. The wedding was officiated by Charles Hutchins, the founder of the children's home where Atkins spent his infancy before being adopted by Allen and Margaret Atkins.
The ceremony was the end of a family weekend on Captiva, an island in southwest Florida. The day before the wedding, the couple's friends and family went fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.
During the ceremony, the couple also celebrated the 51st wedding anniversary of Atkins's parents. They presented his mother with a three-carat aquamarine ring.
According to Atkins's rep, Falcon crafted many of the wedding decorations herself. Each female guest received a handmade bracelet; each male guest received a custom hat to match the baseball cap worn by Atkins.
This is the second marriage for Atkins. In 2011, he filed for divorce from first wife Tammy Jo amid accusations of domestic violence. He was cleared of all charges. SOURCE: People Magazine
